Get Negative Feedback Removed on eBay
You have been left negative
feedback which you feel was left unfairly. Perhaps the bidder bounced
a check, so you left a negative, and the bidder responded with her own
negative. Or the bidder didn't pay and left you a negative you didn't
deserve.
eBay states that feedback cannot
be retracted once it is placed, but this is actually not true. You do
have another option.
SquareTrade
offers a mediation program where you can seek the services of a mediator
to have your negative feedback removed on eBay. The cost is $20, so you
will need to decide if it is worth the money to have this feedback removed.
You submit your transaction
details and other details between you and your bidder. SquareTrade will
then contact the other party.
If the other party doesn't
respond in 14 days, you can request a review for feedback removal. If
the other party responds, you both can request a mediator to resolve the
dispute over the feedback.
If the negative feedback can
be removed, SquareTrade will contact eBay, and within 14 days, you should
see it gone from your feedback profile.
