When do Companies Pay for a Mystery Shop?

Mystery shopping usually isn't a way to get to get immediate cash. Most companies operate on payment terms of anywhere within fifteen to sixty days.

Rarely do companies take longer than that, but if more than 45 days have passed without a payment and/or reimbursement of expenses and purchases, always follow up with the company to check on the payment.

If you find you are dealing with companies who are taking too long to pay, try applying with other companies who have shorter payment terms.

Of course, some are of the opinion that payment two months after the job is better than no payment at all, so the decision is always yours to decide if it is worth the payment delay to accept jobs with companies who pay later than others.
