Reinforcing
Bookings at Your Home Parties
It is very important
that you mention booking a party to all the guests at a home party. Far
too many consultants do not reinforce this very important point during
the party itself, or they mention it only once. You need to be sure that
you mention looking a party at least four times throughout your demonstration.
You need to consider
that a home party is setting the stage for future home parties. And some
of your best leads for future hostesses are sitting right in the room
with you. But most will not approach you with hosting their own party
unless you provide the opening for them to do so. And some might not consider
it the first time you mention it in the party opening but when you mention
at the fourth time in your closing, you just might have changed that person's
mind.
When you thank
your hostess at the beginning of the show, that is the perfect opportunity
for you to make your first to mention a booking a party. You want to mention
what the hostess is earning from hosting this party, and be sure to suggest
that some of the guests hold their own party to get some of those same
benefits.
Then as you go
through your demonstration, there's the opportunity to demo a particular
product that is one of your hostess incentives for the month. So be sure
to mention as you demonstrate the particular product that they can get
a product for three or at a discount if they book their own party. And
we all know that everyone loves things that are on sale and things that
are free. There is usually the opportunity to do at least two of these
products, so make a point of showing at least two of these products. You
will want to be sure you do not demonstrate these products back to back.
To get the most out of it, you want to demo one near the beginning of
your demonstration and one near the end.
Finally, when
you close you will want to do your longer spiel about looking a party.
Be sure to mention how they can benefit from it, as well as how the post
is from that evening will benefit if they book for the future party that
night. And of course, as each person brings you an order, you will want
to ask them about booking a party or becoming a consultants as well.
By following the
steps, you will be reinforcing the idea of booking a party, and increase
the likelihood of getting those parties but then if you had just done
a single spiel during your closing as most consultants do.
