Can a Hostess be a Repeat Hostess?
You have an excellent hostess
- she had fifteen guests with $800 in orders, five bookings and three
new recruits. It was the dream party every consultant wants. She was the
best hostess you ever had! Now, what is a reasonable amount of time to
let pass before you approach her again about hosting another show?
You should let about six months
pass before requesting a second show. Six months seems to be the industry
standard for repeat booksing. Any less, and she will feel like she had
just held the show, and might feel pressured into holding another one
so soon. You should then wait another 3-4 months before repeating your
request for a second show.
But if you wait much longer,
your hostess tends to forget the great time she had with her friends,
and all the incentives and free products she earned.
A non-pressure way is to send you hostess a new catalog, and be sure
to highlight the hostessing special for the coming month. And because
you had such great success with the first show, in might be in order to
offer an additional bonus to encourage her to hold a second show. Everyone
loves a freebie!
