Your New Catalogs with Postcards
When your company
issues a new catalog, your first impulse is to share that catalog with
everyone you know. Unfortunately, most companies do not supply catalogs
for free, so you also have to consider that every catalog you give to
someone costs you money.
Particularly if
you are on the budget or have just started with the company, you might
be wary about sending these catalogs out without no way the return on
investment each catalog will get. Or if you have a limited supply, you
don't want to be left short at a home party or the next hot lead. And
some companies will fall behind in sending new catalogs.
One easy way to
be able to promote your new catalogs while still saving money is by sending
a new catalog announcement out to your customer list, letting them know
you have a new catalog available, and they simply need to contact you
to get it. This will save you a lot of money in catalogs, and you also
know that those requesting the catalogs are actually interested.
The way is to
use postcards, because you can send them for less money, and people are
much more likely to read a post card that he sent a real card, simply
because it is quick and they can read it immediately. On the back you
want to make sure you have all your contact information such as your name,
phone numbe,r e-mail address, and web site address so they can contact
you quick and easy to get a catalog.
Also, those customers
that request a catalog are the customers you also want to follow up with
a week or two after you send it out. This is less expensive and more targeted
for you. And also gives you another time of contact with those customers
that do request a copy of the new catalog.
