Your Own Catalog
One of the best non-agressive
ways to advertise your business is extremely simple - read one of your
catalogs while waiting.
Think of all the places you
have to wait ~ the doctor's office, school, your kid's extra-curriocular
activities, the line up at the bank. Pull out your catalog and casually
look through it. And keep one eye open for anyone who might be trying
to peer over your shoulder, or try to see what it is your reading. Then
make your move.
"Oh, I just got my new
XYZ Catalogs today ~ would you like to take a look?" and the majority
of those who were craning their necks will take a look. While they are
looking, casually mention "I am a representative with XYZ. If you
find something you like, please feel free to give me a call or an email
if you would like more information, a free sample, or to place an order.
All my information is on the back." End of story.
Some may ask for more information
then, or will contact you later. But it is an easy and non-confrontational
way to make a new contact as a potential hostess or recruit.
