I decided to go into the direct marketing business out of necessity. I live in a truly rural area. We have apprx. 1500 people county wide. As a result, the jobs here are virtually non existent.

Unfortunately, my habits are not. My habits are horses, and they are a costly habit to have. My husband and I live on a ranch where we raise Foundation Quarter Horses. They need to eat, so, we need to work. I also need to earn money in a way that I could eventually have a lot of free time to spend with my family and working with the horses.

There are many direct sales people in the area, so, I really had a few specifics in mind about what I wanted in a product line. I wanted quality and affordability. I also wanted to not have a product that would be in competition with anyone else in the area. (As I have stated, we are a very rural area.) I also wanted a company that had not been saturated with consultants yet.

When I saw the Cera Bella catalog, I knew this was the company for me. I know this will take a lot of time and effort on my part to make it the business I want it to become, but the field is wide open. I have the ability and the tools to make a great business to achieve all my goals, while at the same time helping others achieve theirs as well.
