When I started looking at a direct sales business, it was after the birth of my first daughter. I had a strong urge to stay home with her and was looking for a way to make that happen. I have been a kindergarten teacher for 10 years and truly love my job, but I knew I wanted to be with my daughter as much as possible. I started searching for something that would give me some flexibility in hours so that I could take a job share teaching position part time and still make a little extra income to make up for some of the loss I would be taking. I came across MyMommyBiz.com and was instantly connected to a list of direct sales companies. It was here that I found Two Sisters Gourmet! I am happy to be able to come back to this site as a consultant with Two Sisters Gourmet and advertise my business!

As a part time stay at home mom, part time kindergarten teacher, part time Two Sisters Gourmet consultant and full time wife and mother I had a lot going on. I looked at this opportunity as a way to stay at home with my daughter, make a little extra money and have some "adult interaction". Two Sisters Gourmet really was the perfect fit! Not only was I able to make my own hours, work around my family and teaching schedule, but I actually found a ground floor business opportunity with a company that had no consultants in my state of California!! I knew then that this was an opportunity I couldn't pass up!

I joined Two Sisters Gourmet in February of 2002 and was excited at the potential of this terrific company! I have always loved great food and was interested in the reorder possibilities of a gourmet food product. I found that I loved the product, the company and what I did! I was, at the time, only looking for a part time "adventure" to help me stay at home with my little girl. I began to see a bigger potential for my business in September of last year when our company relaunched the business!

After attending a TSG meeting in Detroit, I was empowered to do more! I had never wanted to be mediocre at anything I did and I saw the vision of a wonderful future with this company. I began to put a plan into action with the help of my Director of Salesforce Development! I saw this ground floor business opportunity as a way to develop myself both professionally and personally. I strived to do more with my business and in the last year have moved from Senior Gourmet Consultant to Team Gourmet Leader to my current title of Silver Gourmet Leader. I worked hard to build my team and create a group of support where we were working together toward our individual and collective goals.

Over the year I was able to attend leadership conferences, consultant training, National Convention and become a certified trainer for Two Sisters Gourmet. On top of all of the wonderful training I received, I was able to win and all expense paid trip for my husband and myself to Quebec City and Montreal this year!! I am thrilled with the ongoing support I am given and the ablitlity to reach for and attain my goals!
