Description: Legal Transcriptionist
(also offer regular transcriptionist positions.)
Pay:
Pay per word: This pay rate of ½ cent per word, plus bonus
pay, will generate $10 - $12 per hour for typical typists after a short
period of working within our system. If your typing skills, speed and
ability to turn around jobs efficiently and quickly are good, fast typists
can earn as much as $15 per hour. Not having a high-speed Internet connection,
an up-to-date computer, and/or the most current version of Windows may
adversely impact your earnings.
Requirements:
* Have at least 24 months of increasingly responsible legal work in a
law firm, not more than five years previous to the date of application.
* Have specific experience in and a good working knowledge of the set
up of legal pleadings, agreements, court headings, interrogatories, deposition
summaries, formal correspondence, etc.
* Have a good working knowledge of the proper format of legal citations.
* Updated computer requirements available on the site.
