I Need a New Domain Name if I Change Hosts?
If you have your domain name
www.example.com and decide that you would like to change to a new hosting
company, you can still use the same domain name. You simply need to change
the nameservers with your domain name registrar to reflect the DNS information
of your new hosting company.
The only time you may run into
problems is if you let your first hosting company register your domain
name for you, and they register it in their own company name rather than
yours.
